ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small industrial town in Iowa located on the banks of the Mississippi River, where I understood the role small businesses play in the vitality of communities early on.

After working for several small business owners in high school, I decided that I would eventually become an entrepreneur myself. However, I put that goal on pause to attend the US Military Academy at West Point and serve as an Army pilot and intelligence officer for eight years. After transitioning to work in the corporate world for a few years and obtaining my MBA, I am thrilled to return to my original goal and pursue a career in entrepreneurship through acquisition.

MY SEARCH

I am looking to acquire and operate a service or light-manufacturing business in the infrastructure or utilities space.

I am especially interested in businesses involved in the value chains of sub-industries such as environmental remediation, transmission line construction and repair, rail transportation, and port operations-critical elements of a strong economy.

MY CONTRIBUTION

Between my time in the military and corporate world, I gained extensive experience building high-performing teams and learned how to maximize individual talent through a culture of inclusiveness to achieve operational excellence.

I firmly believe that people are the foundation for any success, and if provided the right training, guidance, and motivation, they will accomplish the mission.

Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.
