About Robert
Born and raised in the southeastern United States, I grew up helping my father rebuild classic cars in our garage. Before middle school, I could clean a carburetor and change brake shoes in a drum. After graduating high school, I enlisted in the Marine Corps and served as an electronics technician, working on radar, radio, and missile systems. I performed exceptionally and was appointed to the U.S. Naval Academy, where I earned a degree in engineering.
Upon graduation, I was commissioned as a Marine Corps Officer and served in intelligence. Since transitioning to the civilian workforce in 2012, I’ve led three successful businesses: as president of a family-owned manufacturing firm; CEO and co-founder of a VC-backed CLIA-certified laboratory; and regional president of a PE-backed roofing rollup.

My goal is to acquire a niche manufacturing business generating $1 to $5 million of EBITDA, serving a healthcare industry growing at 6.2% CAGR. My focus is businesses producing consumables, the fastest growing segment in healthcare manufacturing with a projected 9.8% CAGR, where I can implement a proven strategic playbook to create value. I have a background as an operator in the industry and a strong plan for acquiring, stabilizing, and growing a target business.

I’ve had strong success in the industry by hiring high-impact talent to unlock efficiency and opportunity, investing in automation to scale smartly, and collaborating with customers early in the product life cycle to secure long-term, recurring revenue.
