About Ben
I spent my career in two main industries: 18 years as founder and managing director of a very successful high-end catering and event management business in the Netherlands and 17 years as co-founder and CEO of various businesses in products for Babies and Infants in the Middle East.
As a next step in my career I would like to bring my passion, knowledge and international experience back to my native Netherlands and lead a business, in one of the categories of my search, to the next phase. Even outside work I’m always interested in entrepreneurship and coach others to achieve their objectives. I’m a father of two studying kids and love to sail, play golf and cook.

I have a proven senior top management experience in various industries, focusing on international business development and product – as well as service – innovation.
Over the course of my career, I have gained strong operational experience in day-to-day business management, as well as in the implementation of new strategies. Having led companies through various phases of growth as well as crises, these valuable experiences have taught me to steer companies to eventual success and not to be distracted by the inevitable up- and downturns. With my problem-solving and creative nature, I have successfully managed large multicultural teams and led several mergers and acquisitions. My hospitality background provides me with the ability to exceed customer expectations, while my vast experience in retail and distribution has taught me how to operate in a lean fashion.
